Florida’s infrastructure, talent and business friendly tax policies are recognized as one of the nation’s best and have attracted a vast array of businesses to the state. Hence, Florida’s economy is one of the biggest in the United States, ranking #4 among the states. While agriculture, tourism, life sciences, and construction continue to serve as the foundation of Florida’s economy, its desire to become an economic powerhouse has lead the state to grow in other industries including, aerospace, finance, professional services, energy, and manufacturing, to name just a few. Due to Florida’s close proximity to Latin America and the fact that the state serves as an international commercial gateway to this area and its markets, Florida has become a leading trade hub for the United States.
