Founded in 2007, the Hannibal Square Heritage Center is a tribute to the past, present, and future contributions of the African American community in Winter Park, Florida. They host a permanent exhibition of over 100 pieces that document the lives, experiences, and contributions of African American society from the Emancipation Proclamation and the 20th century. Working together with the Crealdé School of Art, the Heritage Center works to promote outreach, inclusivity, awareness, cultural preservation, and diversity.
Hannibal Square Heritage Center has something to offer everyone. A permanent gallery featuring the Winter Park community, rotating exhibitions from local and nationally recognized artists, art classes and workshops, outreach programs focusing on heritage and culture, and various other educational programs.
