H.E.A.R.T.S. was formed to bring Homeschooling families together in order to support, educate, and encourage them in their efforts to educate their children at home. To achieve these goals, the group meets monthly to pray for and encourage one another, share methods, curriculum, ideas, and to plan group events, field trips and classes.
Homeschooling South Florida is a Yahoo Group designed for homeschooling kids (and their moms/dads) from the Palm Beaches, Broward County, and Dade County. Members on this board are open to discuss homeschooling issues such as curriculum selection, unschooling, the pros and cons (when mom/dad becomes overwhelmed), offer advice to new homeschoolers and share articles found concerning homeschooling issues.
