Here's what's happening in Florida this month. 

July 4, 2017

Location: Cape Coral

Sponsored by the City of Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department, Red, White and Boom 2017 is the largest single day event in Southwest Florida with over 30,000 people expected to come to the heart of Cape Coral and see Southwest Florida's best fireworks display.  The event takes place on Cape Coral Parkway at the foot of Cape Coral Bridge. The Cape Coral Bridge is closing at 3am on July 4th. 

July 17 - 22, 2017

Location: Jim King Park and Boat Ramp in Jacksonville, Florida

One of the largest kingfish tournaments, now in it's 37th year, includes live entertainment, food festival and much more. 

July 1-2, 2017

Location: Fairchild Garden in Coral Gables, Florida

Celebrate Florida's tropical summers with the juiciest event: The International Mango Festival. Enjoy two days of the King of Tropical Fruit featuring cooking demonstrations, tips for your mango trees, artisan vendors, delicious food and drink and more.

Location: Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach at Pensacola Beach, Florida

Features the world-famous Blue Angels performing over Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island.

Location: Tampa, Florida at the Florida State Fairgrounds

Shark-Con is an event dedicated to raising awareness about shark and ocean conservation. This is the place to be if you love the ocean with a huge interactive exhibit from presenting sponsor The Florida Aquarium which includes games, trivia, and a shark tooth sand dig as well as exhibits from Busch Gardens and Clearwater Aquarium.

Fans of comic books, stories, art and pop-culture unite in Tampa Bay for this family friendly convention that features exhibitors, celebrities, cosplay and more. 

July 1 - 4, 2017

Location: Key West, Florida

Celebrating the citrus that is part of Key West culture, the Key Lime. Celebrate 4 days of culinary events for every taste and lots of Key West style fun. The event ends with a fireworks display on July 4th.
