Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion that takes insight for several major world religions. It is characterized by a "free and responsible search for truth and meaning". The Unitarian Universalist (UU) Church does not have a creed and is instead unified by a shared search for spiritual growth. Because of this philosophy, its adherents include many agnostics, theists, and atheists. The UU religion is rooted in liberal Christianity, particularly Unitarianism and Universalism. The believe that these ideals and practices foster a deep regard for intellectual freedom and inclusive love.
